“If God were to reside in any one place on earth it would most certainly be in Tanzania.”

My love of nature and wildlife brought me to visit East Africa more than 10 years ago and from that point have visited nearly every year some part of the African continent. My enthusiasm for nature and wildlife conservation and love of all life led me to take my passion a bit further. In 2017 I became a FGASA licensed field guide with EcoTraining in South Africa . Though not always acting as a professional or full time guide I love nothing more than sharing the astounding magical beauty of the land and animals of Africa with others.

Though maybe superficially yoga and safari guiding may seem like different fields but to me holding all life sacred, showing respect and appreciating the everyday beauty and wonder of nature on our little blue planet is both part of being a field guide and a student of yoga.

“Nothing but breathing the air of Africa, and actually walking through it, can communicate the indescribable sensations.”
