Sadhana Siargao – A Place to Practice

Traditional Ashtanga Yoga on a beautiful island in the Philippines.  I am very happy to announce that Mozart Reina and I (Tarik) will be opening a new place for the global ashtanga community in Siargao, Philippines.

What is Siargao?  A beautiful tropical island in the East of the Philippines.

Why Siargao? Well honestly you have to come and see for yourself but essentially it offers everything that we wanted in a place for practice and quality healthy living.   It has a small population relative to its size so there are never any crowds and it is always easy to find a deserted beach.  The activities are nearly endless from surfing, swimming, hiking, SUP boarding, boating, kayaking, siesta or just relaxing. There is also an established international community which means you have access to a variety of quality international dining and cafes.  The roads are never crowded and the air is clean and revitalizing.  The local community are warm, open and extremely friendly and generous.

If you have been wanting to practice somewhere with abundant natural beauty, stunning beaches, world class surf, affordable accommodations, great food, fresh juicy mangos and a beautiful local culture and community then Siargao might be the place you have been dreaming of.

Grand opening of Sadhana Siargao begins January 3rd, 2018.

Tarik Thami will be teaching from January 3rd – April 1st. 2018

The next teacher and scheduled time slot will be announced later in the year.
